The goal of the Doritos® Baja Fiery Mango animation was to translate the vibrant, tropical heat of the flavor into a dynamic, social-first experience. Inspired by Mountain Dew’s hand-crafted visual style, the animation was designed to feel bold, playful, and immersive—bringing the packaging to life in a way that captured both energy and attitude. The sequence featured a tropical bird and fiery mango dropping into the mouth of a flaming shark, creating a splash that revealed the new bag. Through stylized motion and layered sound design, the goal was to excite digital audiences and introduce the product with visual impact.
The campaign objective for Doritos Baja Blast is to electrify fans with a bold new flavor and a fresh illustrative style that embodies the thrill of the unexpected. Tapping into the cult-favorite Baja Blast, this campaign amplifies the energy of Doritos' crunch with MTN DEW’s iconic citrus kick for a snack that hits different.
The animation for Doritos® Baja Fiery Mango successfully transformed the flavor’s bold, tropical identity into a dynamic, scroll-stopping experience. By combining a hand-crafted animation style inspired by Mountain Dew with stylized motion and sound design, the piece brought the packaging to life with energy and clarity. I led the development of a narrative sequence that balanced playful chaos with visual cohesion—featuring a fiery mango drop, a flaming shark, and a splash reveal that introduced the new product in a memorable, socially optimized way. The result captured the flavor’s personality and elevated the launch across digital platforms.
